A common question I always get from my personal training clients and boot camp members is, “But what can I do if I can’t make it into the gym today?” Everyone has busy lives and work schedules, so this happens to all of us. I started to include some at-home workouts in my boot camp weekly newsletter so that everyone would have an option if they couldn’t make it to class, were out of town or simply wanted an extra workout for the week! That’s how the idea for this guide started.
Can’t make it to the gym today, we have a solution for you!
I compiled some of my favorite workout structures and exercises into these workouts. I selected exercises that can be performed with bodyweight only, or modified based on equipment that you can easily gain access to so you can use the workouts in your living room or a hotel gym. Some of the workouts are even meant for you to get outdoors and enjoy the weather! I also included some extra exercises so that everyone can change up the workouts and create endless possibilities. These workouts are high-intensity, like the Edge Body Boot Camp workouts I program for our boot camp classes, and can be completed in a shorter amount of time than most traditional workouts. Intense and short means you can be easily fit a workout into a busy schedule and continue to help you progress toward your fitness or weight loss goals even when you can’t be with your trainer/coach.
