What are Custom Workout Programs?
These programs are designed to help you achieve specific performance and/or weight loss goals customized to your needs.
These programs include workouts or specific exercises designed to fit into your existing fitness routine to help you achieve a specific goal. An existing Edge Body member could use these more personalized programs to supplement their boot camp class workouts. Have you always wanted to run a 5k? Or push yourself to do an Ironman? Maybe you have hit a plateau with your bench press and want to increase your strenth. We focus on 3 areas- lifestyle (sleep, stress mgmt.), nutrition and training when writing a customized workout program for you. Using this method, we can help you achieve the goals you have in mind.
How can I benefit from a custom program?
Do you have a new goal you wanted to shoot for? Want to run a 5k, but you don’t know how to start training? Have you been lifting for a while, but want to focus a little more on your back squat or pull-ups? These are all things that can pop up when someone is on their journey to better health. That is exactly what these custom programs are for. These programs will give you a plan and workouts to help you focus on these specific goals you have, while also still performing your normal fitness routine.
Do I meet with a coach?
These custom programs are set workout plans. They include full workouts or specific exercises to include into your existing fitness routine. All programs come with demonstration videos and coaching tips so that you’re able to perform these workouts on your own and stay safe. Plus, you’ll also be able to chat with one of our coaches via interactive software, every time you have a question. So you’ll have advice from one of our coaches, but you’ll have workouts you can do on your own time.
Are the plans only for workouts or training goals?
Absolutely not! We also provide custom programs for improved mobility and range of motion. Many of us suffer from limited mobility as a result of our jobs, being stuck at a desk all day or previous injuries. These mobility plans give you specific exercises to do each day that will take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete. By following these programs you will be able to move well in your daily activities and perform exercises in the gym in proper range of motion pain free! Our mobility exercises are way more than just stretching those hamstrings. These can truly change your life and the way you move.
